Your generosity is one of the reasons that Lakes Area Hospice can continue to provide hospice care to those who would otherwise be unable to afford it.
Established in 1994, Lakes Area Hospice is a compassionate way of caring for patients with severe illnesses and providing support for their families. The primary emphasis is on the patient’s comfort, allowing him or her to remain at home as long as possible. Hospice care is provided by a team of professionals – nurses, home health aides, counselors, chaplains and physicians. This team supports the home care provided by the family on a regularly scheduled basis and is on call on a 24-hour basis.
The Lakes Area Hospice Thrift Store will be celebrating their 1 Year Anniversary in the new location on Hwy 96. Dyann Cole, Manager, of the Lakes Area Hospice Thift $tore says that there will be a 50 CENT SALE at the store during the month of September. All clothing with a YELLOW or WHITE tag will only cost 50 cents. Summer or winter clothing, large sizes or small will all be 50 cents.
