The Hope Family

This family of merry makers called the Hope Family originated in the Spring of 2009 with a desire to lighten the spirits of folks in our local nursing homes.

Lakes Area Hospice employees & volunteers joined with nursing facility activity directors and the fun began.

A contest was announced in the Lakes Area Hospice newsletter and friends of LAH responded by suggesting names for our clown family.

The name Hope Family was chosen because it reflects the mission of the group.
